Skills – Faz Karimi

JAVA
I am most skilled and most familiar with JAVA as this was the primary language used in for my academic Degree. I built multiple applications with the language.
PYTHON
I have been learning Python on the side through LinkedIn Learning, I have built basic projects such as HangMan Game, Advanced Calculator

WP-CLI
I’ve been using wp-cli ever since i joined WP Engine, wp-cli is used to troubleshoot issues relating to both the server and the website.
LINUX CLI
Linux cli has also been used on the daily since joining WP Engine to perform tasks on the server or parsing both access and error logs
WORDPRESS
I have gained great understanding of WordPress, Its capabilities and limitations. I can built website efficiently in WordPress but also maintain uptime and investigation the down times.
Problem Solving
I have become proficient in resolving new and challenging issues. I have developed a problem solving which allows me to go past any hurdles along the way. Through research and implementation, resolving issues becomes easier.
Research
I gained valuable skills in being able to research an issue or problem and finding a working solution. This skills first starts with the understanding of the issue or problem at hand.
Version Control
Regularly worked with Git and Git related issues, Users often had issues with offloading their code with Git so we needed solid understanding in order to troubleshoot issues.

I am comfortable in working with production and staging environments.
